School Uniform
The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has worked with governments across the UK to take action to reduce the cost of uniforms. We have reviewed our uniform and as a result have introduced plain white polo shirts as an alternative to the Gold polo shirt with school logo and plain white tee shirts as an alternative to the gold t-shirts with school logo for PE. These which can be purchased from all leading high street stores.
Uniform – our correct uniform consists of:
- Bottle green V neck jumper or cardigan (encouraged to be branded with school logo)
- Gold polo shirt with school logo
- Plain white or gold polo shirt
- Knee length conventional skirt or pinafore in grey or black
- Plain trousers in grey or black
- Plain shorts in grey or black
- Black, grey or white socks or grey or dark green tights
- Green striped / checked dresses (during summer period)
PE Kit – for all bases except Owls, PE kit is to be worn to school on relevant PE days. Our correct PE kit consists of:
- Gold t-shirt with school logo
- Plain white or gold t-shirt
- Plain Black shorts or plain black skort
- Plain jogging bottoms in black or grey
- Black daps or suitable trainers (outdoors)
Please ensure all items of clothing are clearly named and kept clean and neat.
Footwear
Shoes should be of a dark colour in a sensible style. When choosing your children’s shoes please bear in mind:
- children need to run freely in the playground
- as the school has under floor heating, boots are unhealthy and should therefore not be worn all day
During the warmer weather children may wear sandals in school provided:
- they are sensible and support the foot
- the footwear has an instep support strap on the top of the foot or feature a T bar
- the strap has a buckle or velcro fastening
Fashion shoes, flip flops, crocs or shoes with heels are not acceptable.
Socks must be worn at all times.
Additional items
- PE kit bags in bottle green with school logo
- Book Bags with school logo
- An old shirt/apron is recommended for painting/craft activities
Uniform Supplier
Items with our school logo can be obtained from our supplier, Monmark, who is based in Teignmouth Road, Clevedon.

Nearly New Uniform
We have a rail of pre loved uniform items for sale located in the school atrium, please do have a browse if you need additional uniform. Items have been kindly donated by parents when they are no longer required.
Payment for items can be made via ParentPay, using the ‘Donation to school’ payment item.
Valuables
Permissible jewellery: a watch, one pair of stud/sleeper earrings which must be removed for PE, games or swimming lessons.
We do not accept any responsibility for the safety of valuables.
Make-up/nail varnish are not permitted in school. We recommend that long hair is tied back during the school day. It must be tied back for PE lessons and cooking activities.
Mobile Phones
Mobile phones are not allowed in school, they can be handed in to the school office for safe keeping.
